The University of Worcester scheme brings together students and employers for mutual benefits. Employers find flexible skilled assistance when they need it most; students earn money and gain work experience to improve their chances of finding permanent employment on graduation.

Do you need someone to carry out a particular project for you? Many of our students need to complete projects as part of their course, and are looking for companies or other organisations to work in. They have a range of general and specialist skills to offer, and may be flexible in terms of number of hours per week, and number of weeks for the project. Please contact us if you think that they could help.

Are you looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to recruit to your team? We keep in touch with our recent graduates, and they look at jobs on offer through the university. We may be able to help you match graduates to your vacancies through our internship scheme.

Many of our current students combine part time work with study: It helps them to improve their chances of getting a full time job when they have finished their course, it can often link into some aspect of their course, and it helps them to pay some bills. Students are available during ‘normal working hours’ for some days of the week, as well as for evenings, weekends and holidays. Please contact us if you think that they could help.

Student placements

 

Do you need an additional part time team member for a short period? Many of our students need to carry out work experience as part of their course, others are looking for experience to put onto job applications. They have a range of general and specialist skills to offer, and may be flexible in terms of number of hours per week, and number of weeks for the placement. Students in our Business School are encouraged to carry out a year long sandwich placement between their second and third years.
