Presented by the University of Worcester, in Association with the Autumn in Malvern Festival, this rare opportunity to see one of the UK’s leading orchestras takes place on September 10.
In keeping with the City’s heritage, the orchestra will perform two of Elgar’s most famous works, his Cello Concerto and Elegy.
In addition, the audience will be treated to a performance of Dvorak’s Symphony No.8 in G Major and Vaughan Williams’ Overture: The Wasps.
The concert will be conducted by Rory Macdonald, described as “one of the brightest stars of the younger generation of conductors.”
