Choose your route
At the University of Worcester we offer a three year undergraduate Primary Initial Teacher Education BA, as well as one-year postgraduate routes into primary and secondary teaching.
Initially founded as an emergency teacher training college in 1946, the University of Worcester is known for offering the highest quality provision, partnership working and delivery in teacher training.
We provide our trainees with a thought-provoking, constructive and positive environment in which to train to become a teacher who is able to inspire their pupils.
Primary Education courses
We offer a range of high quality courses which equip students to become successful primary school teachers. Routes into primary teaching include:
- a three-year Primary Initial Teacher Education undergraduate course
- a one-year Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- a one-year Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Primary with Mathematics
- a one-year Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Primary - Physical Education Specialist
- a one-year Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) School Direct Primary
Secondary Education courses
