If you are interested in applying for a research degree please complete the relevant application form below and return it to firstname.lastname@example.org
When we receive your application, this will be passed, where appropriate, to a Research Degrees Coordinator from the appropriate Academic Institute, who will review the quality of your application and the potential of providing supervisory support. If we feel that your research proposal displays potential and that we can provide a suitable level of supervision, you will be called to interview by at least two members of staff from the University of Worcester. International students will normally be interviewed by telephone.
The interview panel usually comprises staff who will form part of your supervisory team, should you be successful. The Research School have designed an interview checklist which is used to ensure that all of our applicants are given equal treatment across Academic Institutes and to ensure that all candidates are made aware of the support and training that is available at the Worcester.
Following interview, the application is passed back to the Research School for the purposes of taking up references, language checks and processing on to the student record system. All international students will also receive contact from the International Office about becoming an international student at the University of Worcester. All successful applicants are provided with an individual letter of acceptance and a contract which sets out the terms of the offer. Students with special needs are referred to the University’s student support services. The terms of the contract are binding on the institution and, upon acceptance, on the student.
