The University of Worcester Language Centre provides four sets of 15 credit modules.
Modern foreign languages:
Modules are offered in six languages (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese). Aimed at complete beginners, the modules will prepare you for the world of work, through a communicative approach to language.

Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL):
The module LANG 1001 is designed to help you decide if a career in TEFL may be for you by introducing you to the area. You will have the possibility of following this module with a Cambridge CELTA course at level 5, if you wish to develop your skills and gain an internationally recognised qualification in TEFL.
English for native speakers:
One English module (LANG 1002) is available if you are a student who is a native speaker of English who wishes to enhance and develop academic writing skills.
English as a Foreign Language (EFL):
One English module (LANG 1003) is available if you are a student whose native language is not English, and you wish to improve your existing skills.
