Flexible work opportunities
Our students are an important asset. We know that current students play a major role in helping others to find out about higher education, life as a student and the University itself.
What are student ambassadors?
Student Ambassadors are role models, trained by the University’s Communications team to support a variety of on and off campus activities. These include taster days, open days and campus tours. The events we work on are designed to raise aspirations and awareness of higher education and often involve working with potential students.
Many students also work in administrative roles across the campus. Sometimes we are able to match skills with quite specialised jobs (for example, our top journalism students can work alongside the University’s Press Officer).
Develop your skills
Becoming a Student Ambassador is very rewarding – it not only develops your communication skills, it also increases your employability and gives you the opportunity to work in a variety of professional settings.
It's an extremely friendly working environment, with flexible hours and a great rate of pay for such a fun job!Megan David, 3rd year student
