
Learning spaces for You
Group study and learning spaces are provided throughout the University. The areas have been created to provide a study environment that's right for you. All students are able to move between zones and use them as they wish.
Riverside
The Learning Exchange at the new Riverside building, situated on Hylton road between The Garage, City Campus and St Johns Campus, provides:
- 20 PCs
- 24 laptop charge points
- 2 group study screens
- Printers
- Coffee pod
- Student meeting room
- Wireless network access
All in all, there's enough room and equipment for 140 students.
Opening hours: Mon-Fri 8.30-21.30, Sat&Sun 8.30-15.30
City Campus
At City Campus there are social learning spaces throughout the Charles Hastings Building which can host 70 students.
Facilities include:
- PCs
- Group study screens
- Power for laptops
- Breakout areas
- Wireless network access
Opening hours: Mon-Fri 8.00-21.00
St John's
The study space in the Peirson Study & Guidance Centre is open 24 hours a day. This means that students have
constant access to:
- PCs
- Printers
- Vending machines
- Social areas
- Group work areas
- Silent study spaces
- Laptop power points
- Wireless internet
The Hive
The Hive is an exceptional £60 million facility that has dramatically increased the learning resources, technology, study and social spaces available to you as a University of Worcester student. The Hive includes:
- 250 bookable computers
- Laptop power points
- Printers and wifi
- 250 000 books
- Cafe
- Studio Theatre
- Shop
- Exhibition spaces
- Meeting rooms
- The new children's library
